FERGUEZ was born years ago in Colombia, while its founder and designer, Jhennifer Rodriguez , was studying Fashion Design at university. It all began with  swimwear and ceramic pieces, inspired by creativity, colour, and nature. Ten years later, life unexpectedly brought her to Darwin, Australia. Surrounded by the ocean, she found endless inspiration. Long walks along local beaches became a daily ritual, collecting shells and natural treasures to create jewellery for herself. Soon, people began asking for their own pieces, inspiring her to relaunch FERGUEZ in Australia through local markets. What started with handmade jewellery made from local shells and seeds gradually evolved into macramé bikinis, hand-painted sarongs, dresses, and wearable art inspired by nature. In December 2025, the journey came full circle. Jhennifer travelled to the remote emerald region of Colombia and visited the mines where the world’s finest emeralds are born.
Today, FERGUEZ proudly works with authentic Colombian emeralds, bringing together the beauty of Colombian heritage and Australian coastal living. Every FERGUEZ piece tells a story,crafted slowly, inspired by nature, and made to be treasured for years to come.
